The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Bureau of Thailand (NBTC) announced that since July 7, 2025, products supporting LTE bands 4G(32, 75, 76) and 5G NR(n32, n75, n76) need to submit RF test reports to obtain NBTC Class B certification.
The requirements are as follows:
◆ For the new application, NBTC requires to submit the test report of the corresponding frequency band.
◆ For applications that have been submitted but not yet certified, NBTC requires additional test reports of corresponding frequency bands.
◆ NBTC does not require any action for the certificate that has been issued before.
The accepted standards for RF test report of new frequency band are as follows:
★ 4G frequency bands 32, 75 and 76: ETSI TS 136101 or TS 36.521-1.
★ 5G NR bands n32, n75 and N76: ETSI TS 138101-1V18.9.0 or later.

Suggestions to enterprises
In order to ensure the products pass NBTC certification smoothly, there are two suggestions for related enterprises:
1. Product planning stage: reserve test time in advance.
If the product design of the enterprise includes this new frequency band, the enterprise can reserve the compliance test time at the initial stage of research and development to avoid the delay of the certification cycle caused by the new test and affect the listing rhythm in Thailand market.
2. Certification application stage: respond accurately according to different situations.
◆ New application items: check one by one before submitting the certification application to ensure that the test report completely covers all supported new frequency bands, so as to avoid being rejected due to lack of items;
◆ Items that have been submitted without certification: take the initiative to contact the certification body, arrange the RF test of the newly added frequency band as soon as possible, and supplement the report in time to ensure that the certification process is not interrupted.

The new requirements for NBTC Class B certification in Thailand have been implemented since July 7, 2025.
